Headteacher's welcome

Welcome to Watling Park School, a state school in Burnt Oak (Edgware) in North London.

We are a friendly and inclusive school, with a new building with excellent facilities, including an extensive outdoor space as well as a full-sized football pitch!

We offer a broad, exciting curriculum for all pupils while supporting each child’s developmental needs, through exploration, creativity and practical application. We equip each and every pupil with the skills, knowledge, understanding and mindset to succeed in the next stage of their education and throughout their life.

We support all children to grow and flourish as confident individuals with high personal aspirations and a lifelong love of learning. We celebrate diversity and teach children to recognise and respect individual differences as well as similarities.

We offer a knowledge-rich, wide curriculum driven by high-quality teaching within a nurturing learning environment. Our staff work tirelessly to ensure that each and every child is encouraged and challenged, builds knowledge on their personal strengths and interests, and makes progress to achieve their full potential.

We also believe that a child’s education is a partnership between home and school and we work closely with families to create a learning environment where children feel safe, happy, well-motivated and healthy. Our children are kind, respectful and a pleasure to teach.
